Giving Back to Pottstown: Partnering with the Coventry Food Pantry

At Rockwell Development Group, we believe in strengthening the local communities in our area. This season, our team organized a food drive to help stock the shelves the Coventry Food Pantry and packed over 200 snack bags to support their Weekend Backpack program. These bags will go directly to children in the local school district who have been identified by teachers and counselors as needing extra support to ensure they don’t go hungry over the weekend.

The Coventry Food Pantry provides vital assistance to families throughout our community. Each month, they serve approximately 110 families—about 320 people—through regular distributions, while also responding to emergency food needs as they arise. During the holidays, the pantry hosts special distributions for Thanksgiving and Christmas, offering food for both breakfast and dinner, along with gifts for children; this year, 112 kids will receive presents. In August, they supply school essentials to help students start the year prepared. Their Weekend Backpack program currently supports 50 children, a number that typically grows as the school year progresses, ensuring that kids identified by teachers and counselors have food to take home each weekend.

We are proud to support the Coventry Food Pantry and to give back to the Pottstown community. Partnering with organizations like this reminds us of the importance of compassion, teamwork, and service.
